All Horses must be registered to compete. Registration forms available online at www.angelstone.co

All Qualifiers offer classes for 5, 6 and 7/8 year olds. All Classes take place in the Grand Prix Ring. All Qualifers offer at least $750 in Prize Money. The Final will offer $15,000 in Prize Money for each age group.

Eligibility – Open to all riders. Open to horses 5, 6, 7 or 8 with proof of age. Horses must carry EC passport or equivalent.

Press/Media – Jennifer Ward to handle all press for the series. Results and standings will be available online at www.angelstone.co. Press releases will go out after each event.

Administration – Angelstone Tournaments office will handle registration and point standings. Please contact Morgan@angelstone.co with any questions.

Prize Money / Entry Fees – Prize money must be AT LEAST $750 per age group. Entry fee may not exceed $75. Payout is to be $225/150/125/100/ 75/75. If offering more please keep percentages the same.

Age Category Rules and Heights

5-year-olds

To begin the year at 1.10m and work up to 1.20m. Time allowed 325 meters per minute. Cooler to winner. Ribbons and prize money to top 8. Scoring – FEI Article 238.2.2 for qualifiers. Final to be cumulative score over four rounds. In event of a tie after four rounds there will be a jump- off.

6-year-olds

To begin the year at 1.20m and work up to 1.30m. Time allowed 325 meters per minute. Cooler to winner. Ribbons and prize money to top 8. Scoring – FEI Article 238.2.2 for qualifiers. Final to be cumulative score over four rounds. In event of a tie after four rounds there will be a jump- off.

7/8 year olds

To begin the year at 1.30m and work up to 1.40m. Time allowed 350 meters per minute. Cooler to winner. Ribbons and prize money to top 8. Scoring – FEI Article 238.2.2 for qualifiers. Final to be cumulative score over four rounds. In event of a tie after four rounds there will be a jump- off.

Angelstone International Show Jumping Tournament

▶ Class #701 – $15,000 5 Year Old Final

▶ Class #702 – $15,000 6 Year Old Final

▶ Class #703 – $15,000 7/8 Year Old Final  

Prize Money – Cooler & $4,500 / $3,000 / $2,250 / $1,750 / $1,250 / $1,000 / $650 / $600

Entry Fee – $600 (Must have competed in two qualifiers to be eligible)

Final to take place over 4 rounds, cumulative score. The horse with the lowest number of faults over all four rounds will be declared the 2012 Champion. In the event of a tie for first place there will be a jump-off. Riders from outside Ontario and Quebec may enter the final with a $600 Entry Fee. Riders in Ontario and Quebec must qualify to compete.


Special 4 Year Old Championship

▶ Class #704 – 4-Year-Old Championship  

The Four Year Old Championship will take place over 5 Rounds. There will be one round at the Angelstone National Phase 1, 2 and 3 and two rounds at the Angelstone International. Horses will count their best two scores from round 1 – 3 combined with a score from round 4 and 5. The horse with the lowest number of faults will be declared the 2012 Champion.  In the event of a tie there will be a jump-off using an optimum time.

Entry Fee $250

Cooler and Ribbons to the winner
